The Reolink D81 is an 8-megapixel outdoor network camera that captures 4K ultra-high-definition video. It connects and powers through a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet. The camera targets homeowners and small-business operators who want detailed day-and-night surveillance without running separate power lines. Built-in person, vehicle and animal detection reduces unwanted motion alerts.

IP66 rated for continuous outdoor exposure

The IP66-rated housing protects the camera against powerful water jets and dust during prolonged outdoor deployment. It operates reliably from minus 10 °C up to 55 °C (14 °F to 131 °F) and in humidity ranging from 10 % to 90 %. Advanced infrared illumination combined with 3D digital noise reduction maintains clear night-time footage during extended recording sessions. A microSD card slot accepts up to 256 GB for local 24/7 storage.

Single-cable PoE simplifies mounting

Power over Ethernet delivers both data and electricity over one cable, so only a single drill hole is needed for most installations. The camera must be paired with a PoE switch or injector that supplies the required class of power; insufficient power is the most common cause of intermittent operation. Time-lapse creation and smart playback filtering are only available through the Reolink mobile app or when the camera is linked to a compatible Reolink NVR.
