Dual-band WiFi antenna kit for server racks

This PISKEKAT kit supplies two omni-directional antennas covering 2.4 GHz (2400 - 2485 MHz) and 5.8 GHz (5150 - 5850 MHz) bands with 8 dBi gain. Each antenna uses an RP-SMA male connector and includes a 30 cm RG178 coaxial pigtail cable terminating in a U.FL female bulkhead mount. The package targets administrators upgrading wireless links on rack-mounted routers, access points, IP cameras or industrial IoT gateways that expose a U.FL external antenna port.

Sustained link stability across both bands

The 8 dBi omni-directional pattern maintains consistent signal strength for continuous streaming from wireless video surveillance DVRs, remote monitoring terminals and wireless HDMI extenders. Because the antennas are mounted externally via the supplied pigtails, they avoid the signal attenuation common with internal antennas inside metal server cabinets. The dual-band coverage lets a single deployment serve legacy 2.4 GHz clients and newer 5.8 GHz equipment without swapping hardware.

Passive thermal profile and low power impact

As purely passive components the antennas add no heat, noise or electrical load to the rack. The 30 cm RG178 pigtails route cleanly to Mini PCI-E network cards with U.FL connectors; they do not fit M.2 NGFF interfaces, so installers must verify the card type before deployment.
