The AW-RP60GJ is a 12 V DC remote camera controller built for operators managing up to 200 IP-connected cameras or five RS-422 units. A 3.5-type QHD LCD panel shows a graphical menu for quick status checks, while the enlarged joystick grip gives steadier pan and tilt movements. It suits live production, streaming and fixed-installation crews who need centralised, tactile control.

Assignable Buttons and PoE Simplify Setup

Four user-assignable buttons each hold two functions, giving eight custom shortcuts without menu diving. Preset names can be edited from a PC tool to match specific camera positions or scenes. PoE support under the IEEE 802.3af standard lets a single Ethernet cable carry both 42 V to 57 V DC power and control data, cutting cable count and easing rack or field deployment.

RS-422 Port Limits and Power Options

The RS-422 interface handles only five direct camera connections, so larger serial chains need additional routing hardware. IP control scales to 200 cameras, yet only ten groups of ten presets each are available for quick recall. The unit draws 0.9 A from the XLR input or 0.3 A over PoE, so installers must verify that their switch or injector can deliver the required current within the 10.8 V to 13.2 V DC range.
