Optical reach and practical limits

Fluorine coating on the front element repels water, dust and grease for easier cleaning in harsh conditions. The lens excels at bringing distant subjects into tight frames for wildlife and action photography. It is not suited for wide-angle scenes, low-light interiors or situations demanding a constant fast aperture throughout the zoom range.
