GPU Power Adapter for RTX 30 Series

This ORVIX adapter cable connects a power supply with standard PCIe 6-pin or 8-pin outputs to graphics cards that use the mini 12-pin connector. It supports NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series models including the 3090, 3080, 3070, 3060 and 3050. The cable is built with new copper cores and contains no recycled materials. It is intended for builders upgrading an older PSU to work with a newer 12-pin GPU.

Sustained Power Delivery

The dual 6/8-pin female inputs draw current from two separate PSU cables, spreading the load across the power supply's PCIe rails. This arrangement helps maintain stable voltage when the graphics card runs at full load for extended periods. The genuine copper conductors are designed to handle continuous current without excessive heat buildup. The adapter simply passes power through; it does not regulate voltage or add any active circuitry.

Mini 12-Pin Interface Limit

The mini 12-pin connector on the graphics card side is rated for the power levels defined by the RTX 30 Series reference designs. If a card draws more current than the connector specification allows, the adapter cannot increase that limit. Builders using heavily overclocked or custom models with higher power targets should verify the card's connector rating first. This cable is not suitable for motherboards or devices that require a different 12-pin pinout.
