The Comprehensive CAT6A-25BLU is a 25-foot blue shielded twisted-pair copper cable built for 10-Gigabit Ethernet links. Four conductors of 24 AWG wire support full 100-metre channel distances without the reach limits found in standard Cat6 installations. Snagless boots and 50-micron gold-plated contacts protect the connectors during repeated patching.

Sustained 500 MHz bandwidth under load

Electrical specifications are extended from 250 MHz to 500 MHz, so the cable maintains alien-crosstalk margins during continuous 10-Gigabit throughput rather than only during brief bursts. Power-sum alien-crosstalk measurement to 500 MHz keeps coupled interference from neighbouring cables in check across the full run. Shielded construction preserves signal integrity when the link is saturated for long periods.

Replaces limited-distance Cat6 patch cords

Existing Cat6 cables that cannot guarantee 10-Gigabit speeds beyond short runs are upgraded by this CAT6A design. The jump is worth it when 100-metre 10-Gigabit connectivity is required and alien-crosstalk headroom must meet the 500 MHz draft specification. Installations staying at 1-Gigabit or using shorter Cat6 links will not see a practical benefit.
