50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable

This 50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable uses RJ45 connectors on both ends and meets the 2 GHz (2000 MHz) frequency specification for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T networks. The white jacket and S/FTP shielding suit data-centre switch-to-server links as well as general LAN wiring. It is built with a pure copper core, aluminium foil and woven mesh shields, PVC outer cover and gold-plated RJ45 plugs. The cable is UL rated for Cat 8 performance.

Fits standard RJ45 ports without adapters

Each end terminates in a standard RJ45 plug, so the cable plugs directly into servers, switches, routers, PCs, printers, consoles, TV boxes and patch panels. The 24 AWG conductors and double shielding keep signal integrity over the full 50 ft run while remaining flexible enough for rack or desk routing. Backward compatibility with Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6a and Cat 7 equipment means it can replace older patch cords without re-configuring ports.

Shielded construction controls interference

The S/FTP design wraps each pair in foil and adds an overall braided mesh, suppressing alien crosstalk and electromagnetic noise at 2 GHz operation. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation for stable resistance over repeated insertions. The PVC jacket protects the internal structure during pulls and bends. No external power or active circuitry is required; the cable is purely passive.
