Nippon Labs Cat 8 10-pack overview

This 10-pack supplies twenty-five-foot Cat 8 patch cords with RJ45 connectors on each end. The cables use 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and S/FTP shielding with individual foil per pair plus an overall braid. They are rated for up to 2 GHz bandwidth and 40 Gbps data rates. The blue PVC jacket is CM rated and the plugs carry 50 micron gold-plated contacts.

Compatibility and installation check

Each cord terminates in standard RJ45 plugs compatible with existing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A and Cat 7 ports. Verify that your switch, router or NIC accepts RJ45 and that the twenty-five-foot length suits the run between devices. The snagless boot and soft-flex push tab ease insertion and removal in dense panels. No special tools or drivers are required for basic connectivity.

Thermal noise and power profile

Passive copper construction produces no active heat, fan noise or electrical draw beyond the negligible resistance of the conductors.
