Ultra-Short Cat 8 Patch Cable

This 0.5 ft Cat 8 cable is built for high-density server racks and data-centre switch-to-server links where every centimetre counts. It supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications at 2 GHz bandwidth and remains fully backward compatible with Cat 5 through Cat 7 equipment. The white jacket helps colour-code dense patch panels in small or medium enterprise LANs.

S/FTP Shielded Plug-and-Play

The cable uses 24 AWG pure copper conductors wrapped in aluminium foil and woven mesh shielding, terminated with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends. No tools or configuration are required — simply snap the connectors into any standard RJ45 port. The only common issue is the extremely short length; verify the exact device-to-device distance before ordering so the cable is not stretched or left dangling.

Measure the straight-line gap between the two RJ45 ports you intend to link and confirm that 0.5 ft provides enough slack for routing and strain relief.
