This 6 ft Cat7 shielded Ethernet cable carries RJ45 connectors at each end and is built to the 600 MHz category specification. It uses 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual pair shielding plus an overall braid, terminated in shielded plugs with 50 micron gold contacts. The CM-rated PVC jacket meets UL and ETL verified TIA/EIA compliance and RoHS requirements. Wiring follows the T568B standard for straight-through patch use.

100 metre channel limit at 600 MHz

Cat7 cabling is specified for transmission frequencies up to 600 MHz over a 100 metre (328 ft) channel length. This 6 ft assembly is well within that distance, so the full bandwidth headroom is available for Gigabit Ethernet links. The double-shield construction reduces alien crosstalk and system noise beyond Cat6 levels, which helps maintain signal integrity in dense cable runs or near electrical equipment.
