One-foot Cat 7 patch cable for short runs

This one-foot Cat 7 patch cable uses double-shielded 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts. The SSTP construction wraps each pair in foil and adds an overall braid for crosstalk rejection up to 600 MHz. It is UL and ETL verified to TIA/EIA standards and RoHS compliant. The CM-rated PVC jacket and moulded strain-relief boots suit indoor rack or desk connections.

Fits tight links between adjacent gear

The short length reduces slack when linking a switch to a server, a router to a patch panel, or a PC to a wall jack in the same cabinet. Shielded plugs require shielded jacks to maintain the screen path, so both ends of the channel must support grounding. The boot protects the latch during frequent re-patching, and the stranded wire tolerates the bend radius of dense cable management. No external power or configuration is needed.

Replaces unshielded or lower-category jumpers

Use this cable when an existing Cat 5e or Cat 6 patch cord shows errors in a high-EMI rack or when a link must meet 600 MHz bandwidth over short distances. It is not for runs longer than 100 meters, for outdoor burial, or for builders who need non-booted plugs for ultra-dense panels.
