Cat6A reaches 10 Gigabit at 500 MHz over 100 meters

The standard supports 10, 100, 1000 and 10000Base-T signalling at a minimum 500 MHz bandwidth across the full 100 metre channel. At 4 ft this cable is well within the distance limit, but the 10 Gigabit rate also requires every link partner and switch port to negotiate 10G speeds. Unshielded construction means alien crosstalk margins are tighter than shielded alternatives in dense bundles.

Check port speed, jack wiring and pathway rating

Verify that both endpoints have 10G-capable RJ45 ports and that existing wall jacks or patch panels follow the T568B pinout used on this cable.
