3 ft Cat6A UTP patch cable

This three-foot orange patch cable uses unshielded twisted-pair construction with 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors. RJ45 plugs on both ends feature 50 micron gold-plated contacts and snagless molded boots. The cable is wired to the T568B standard and carries a CM-rated PVC jacket. It suits short runs between switches, routers, servers, printers or workstations in a rack or on a desk.

Sustained 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance

The cable is rated for a minimum frequency of 500 MHz and a 550 MHz bandwidth rating, supporting 10,000Base-T Ethernet across the full 100 meter channel. Crosstalk suppression and the bare copper conductors keep signal integrity stable during continuous high-throughput loads such as large file transfers, backup streams or PoE-powered devices. The UTP design relies on pair geometry rather than shielding to maintain performance over time.

3 ft length limits placement flexibility

At three feet the cable only reaches devices that sit close together, such as adjacent patch-panel ports or a switch and a server in the same rack shelf.
