25-foot Cat 6A patch cable for 10 Gigabit networks

This 25-foot Cat 6A UTP cable connects routers, switches, servers and workstations using RJ45 plugs on both ends. It is built with 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and a CM-rated PVC jacket. The blue boot protects the latch during frequent moves. It suits installers who need a pre-terminated link rated for 10,000Base-T speeds.

Snagless boots and standard wiring simplify

Each RJ45 plug carries 50-micron gold-plated contacts and follows the T568B pin-out, so the cable works straight from the bag with no crimping tool required. The moulded boot prevents the latch from catching on adjacent ports or cable bundles. Because the cable is unshielded UTP, it must not be run parallel to power conductors or fluorescent ballasts where alien crosstalk could degrade the 500 MHz signal.

Cat 6A UTP reaches 100 metres at 10 Gigabit

The TIA/EIA-verified design supports 10, 100, 1000 and 10,000Base-T Ethernet up to 100 metres (328 feet) at a minimum 500 MHz bandwidth. UTP construction lacks a foil or braid screen, so the 100-metre guarantee assumes a low-EMI environment; heavy industrial sites may require shielded cable instead. PoE heating is mitigated by the 24 AWG copper, yet bundle-size limits in the applicable installation code still apply.
