The Nippon Labs 30UC-CGB connects a USB 3.1 Type-C port to an RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet jack. It is intended for laptops, tablets or smartphones whose USB-C socket supports DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3. An Ethernet cable is required to complete the link. The white adapter adds a wired network option where Wi-Fi is unavailable or undesired.
Sustained 1000 Mbps throughput over USB 3.1
The adapter negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds and uses the USB 3.1 5 Gbps pipe for data transfer.
