350 MHz bandwidth and 1 Gbps limit

The Cat 6 rating guarantees 350 MHz bandwidth and supports up to 1 Gbps transfer rates over the full 14 ft length. Unshielded twisted-pair construction keeps the cable thin but offers no protection against strong electromagnetic interference, so performance can degrade near heavy motors, fluorescent ballasts or dense power bundles. The 32 AWG stranded conductors add flexibility but increase insertion loss compared with thicker solid-core cable.
