The four-pair UTP construction uses 23 AWG solid bare copper, which conducts better than copper-clad aluminium and maintains signal integrity across the full 100 metre channel. Rated to 250 MHz with headroom to 400 MHz, it supports gigabit speeds without the degradation seen in shorter burst tests. The plenum jacket does not alter electrical performance, so sustained data rates stay stable in ceiling or duct spaces.

Fire-safe jacket with low smoke

The CMP-rated plenum jacket is formulated to pass rigorous fire safety standards, limiting flame spread and smoke production in air-handling spaces. Because the cable is unshielded and uses solid conductors, it remains flexible enough for pulling through conduit while producing minimal heat under normal PoE loads. No external power supply or active cooling is involved, so operational noise is zero.
