NavePoint Cat6 keystone jacks ship in a 25-pack of white connectors designed for standard patch panels and wall plates. Each jack accepts solid 23 or 24 AWG cable and uses 110-type terminations color-coded for T568A and T568B wiring schemes. The 180-degree termination angle keeps the profile compact inside tight enclosures. Gold-plated contacts and fire-retardant thermoplastic construction meet TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6 performance requirements.

Upgrade from Category 5e

These jacks replace older Category 5e keystones when a certified Category 6 link is required for Gigabit Ethernet backbones. The jump is worth it when new cable runs must pass Category 6 qualification tests or when building infrastructure that will carry 1 Gbps traffic with verified headroom. Existing Category 5e patch panels and wall plates accept the same footprint, so no panel changes are needed. Installers using 110 or Krone impact tools can terminate both wiring schemes without new tooling.

Capacity and headroom

Each jack comfortably handles solid 23 or 24 AWG conductors terminated at a 180-degree angle with dual IDC modules. The gold-plated RJ45 contacts maintain signal integrity across the full Category 6 bandwidth defined by TIA/EIA 568-C.2. Headroom runs out when cable quality, length, or installation practices fall below the Category 6 channel limits. The product does not support stranded patch cable termination, shielded applications, or Category 6A performance tiers.
