The NavePoint 9U wall-mount cabinet provides a secure enclosure for network switches, patch panels and similar equipment in locations where floor space is limited. Its hinged rear section swings away from the wall so technicians can reach cabling and rear-panel ports without removing the unit from the wall. Two built-in fans promote airflow through the enclosure to help prevent equipment overheating. The cabinet locks on the front door, side panels and rear gate to protect against tampering or theft.

Replaces Open Racks or Non-Hinged Wall Boxes

This cabinet is a step up from open-frame wall racks when physical security and dust protection are required, and from fixed-depth wall boxes when rear access during service is a regular need. The swing-gate design makes the jump worthwhile for sites that perform frequent cable changes, hardware swaps or firmware updates without wanting to uninstall the whole enclosure. It supports equipment up to 200 lbs, so heavier switches or small servers can be mounted where a lighter-duty box would not suffice.

Pre-Assembled Mounting with Adjustable Rails

The unit ships fully assembled, so installation consists of securing the supplied L-brackets to wall studs or suitable anchors and hanging the cabinet. Vertical mounting rails adjust up to 15.74 inches deep to match equipment depth, and the reversible glass front door can be hinged left or right to suit the room layout. The main points to verify are that the wall structure can carry the loaded weight and that the 550 mm overall depth clears any skirting, conduit or door swing in the chosen location.
