This NavePoint patch panel provides 48 unshielded Cat6 ports in a 19-inch 2U form factor. It is designed for installers who need high-density copper termination in a standard rack or wall-mount bracket. The panel supports TIA/EIA 568A and 568B wiring schemes with colour-coded punch-down blocks for straightforward cable management. It suits structured cabling projects in offices, data rooms or home network enclosures.

Passive Thermal Operation

As a fully passive component the panel generates no heat and requires no power draw or active cooling. It adds zero acoustic noise to the rack environment and does not affect the thermal budget of adjacent active equipment. The steel chassis simply acts as a cable organiser and grounding point for the shield drain wires if FTP cable is used. No fans, power supplies or temperature monitoring are involved.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous network traffic the patch panel maintains its rated Cat6 performance because signal integrity depends only on the quality of the terminated connections. There is no throttling, latency variation or degradation over time since no active electronics are present. The panel’s reliability is limited to the physical durability of the IDC contacts and the mechanical stability of the mounted cables.
