Bulk Cat6 for custom installs

This 1000 ft roll of Cat6 UTP cable lets installers cut exact lengths for structured wiring jobs. It uses 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors and a centre spine to maintain pair geometry. The CMR riser rating allows vertical runs between floors in commercial buildings. White jacket colour simplifies cable identification in dense patches.

Replaces patch cords and short rolls

Cutting from bulk eliminates the waste and clutter of pre-made lengths that are either too long or too short. The jump is worth it when you need dozens of drops with consistent performance and a single colour scheme. Rip cord and tangle-free packaging speed up stripping and pulling. Solid conductors are not suited for repeated flexing or patch-panel jumpers.

Limits of UTP Cat6 at 550 MHz

Unshielded twisted pair relies on balanced signalling, so external EMI from power cables or fluorescent ballasts can degrade margin. The 550 MHz bandwidth supports 1 Gigabit Ethernet with headroom but does not guarantee 10 Gigabit over the full 100 m channel. CMR rating covers riser spaces only; plenum spaces require CMP cable. Solid wire must not be used where repeated movement occurs.
