SQL Server 2022 User CAL

This licence grants one user access to Microsoft SQL Server 2022. It is a perpetual Client Access Licence delivered through the Cloud Solution Provider programme. The entitlement is tied to a specific Azure Active Directory tenant, so the buyer must supply a Tenant ID before the order can be processed.

Commercial businesses with a single user

Organisations that licence SQL Server per user and need to cover one additional person will use this CAL. It does not suit environments that licence by core, nor does it cover access for multiple users or devices. Buyers without an existing Azure tenant must request one before purchasing.

Perpetual per-user entitlement

The licence is perpetual and bound to one named user rather than a device. A valid Tenant ID is the single requirement that determines whether this CAL can be activated for your organisation.
