3G-SDI to HDMI Converter

The LUOM SDI2HDMI converts SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals to HDMI with automatic format detection. It accepts 480i, 576i, 720p and 1080i/p sources at up to 60 Hz and outputs matching HDMI resolutions up to 1080p60. A simultaneous SDI loop-out preserves the original signal for downstream equipment. The unit is powered from a USB 5 V 1 A source and operates on Windows, Android, macOS and Linux.

Upgrading from Analog or Single-Output Adapters

This converter replaces older analog-to-digital boxes or single-output SDI adapters that lack loop-through. The jump is worth it when a workflow needs both an HDMI feed for monitoring or streaming and a clean SDI pass-through for recording or further distribution. It does not serve buyers who require 4K UHD conversion or bidirectional HDMI-to-SDI operation.

Build Integration and Connectivity

Connect a single BNC SDI source to the input; the HDMI port drives a display, projector or capture device while the second BNC carries the untouched SDI signal onward. USB power can come from a wall adapter, power bank or host computer, freeing a mains socket. The compact metal enclosure fits on a desk or in a rack without blocking adjacent ports.
