1-to-8 HDMI splitter for multi-display installs

The LUOM HW-HD4K takes a single HDMI source and sends the same signal to eight displays at once. It supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 and handles 3D, Deep Color and common audio formats such as LPCM, Dolby-AC3, DTS7.1 and DSD. The unit amplifies and buffers the signal for longer cable runs. It suits control rooms, digital signage, conference rooms and training setups where identical output is required on every screen.

Replaces daisy-chained splitters or matrix switches

A single 1-to-8 box removes the need to chain multiple 1-to-2 or 1-to-4 splitters, cutting cable clutter and potential signal loss. The jump is worth it when you need eight synchronised outputs from one source without managing EDID conflicts across several devices. It also replaces a basic matrix if you never need different content on each display. The 6-second EDID cycle helps re-sync quickly when displays are swapped.

Check source resolution

The splitter passes through a maximum of 3840 x 2160, so a source limited to 1080p will not magically upscale. Verify that your source device outputs a resolution and refresh rate within the listed video formats such as 1080p, 1440p or 4Kx2K. Ensure the source and all eight displays support HDCP, otherwise protected content may not appear. Cable quality and length affect reliability at higher resolutions.
