Dual-bay 2.5-inch SATA/SAS mobile rack

The LORDWORLD 522SP-B fits a single external 3.5-inch bay and holds two 2.5-inch SATA or SAS hard drives or SSDs. Hot-swap operation lets you insert or remove drives without powering down the host. The tray-less, door-less mechanism accepts bare 5 mm and 9.5 mm drives directly.

Suited for hot-swap server and industrial builds

System integrators who need quick drive changes in rackmount servers, mobile workstations or automation rigs will benefit from individual eject buttons and per-bay activity LEDs. Builds that only have 2.5-inch internal bays, or that require more than two simultaneous hot-swap slots, cannot use this enclosure.

Single-channel SATA 3.0 or SAS 3.0 interface

Each bay connects over a single channel running at SATA 6 Gbps or SAS 12 Gbps, so the host controller must provide one SATA or SAS port per drive. If the backplane or controller lacks enough ports for two drives, the second bay will remain inactive.
