This pack supplies one hundred white strain-relief boots that slide over crimped RJ-45 plugs on Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 patch cables. They are intended for installers, network technicians and hobbyists who terminate their own Ethernet cables and want to protect the connector latch and wire entry point. The white colour supports colour-coded wiring schemes in structured cabling projects.

Fits Standard RJ-45 Plugs on Cat5, Cat5e.

The boots are sized for the standard RJ-45 connector profile used across Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 patch cables. They do not fit larger shielded or industrial connector housings that exceed the basic RJ-45 footprint. Each boot must be threaded onto the cable before the plug is crimped, so they cannot be added to an already terminated cable without re-crimping.

Soft Pliable Material Protects Latch

Made from soft, pliable plastic, each boot covers the crimped connector and extends over the cable jacket to absorb bending forces at the termination point. This reduces the risk of broken wires or a snapped latch during repeated insertion and removal.
