Cat6 Keystone Jacks, 5-pack

These black Cat6 keystone jacks come in a pack of five and use 110 punchdown termination. They accept both 568A and 568B wiring schemes with dual-color coded labels. Each jack snaps into standard keystone wallplates, patch panels or surface-mount boxes. They are suited for installers building or expanding structured Cat6 cabling.

110 punchdown limits

The 110 punchdown interface requires a compatible impact tool and solid-conductor cable sized for Cat6. It does not support toolless or insulation-displacement termination without the proper tool. The jacks are rated for Cat6 performance only and will not certify to higher category specifications. Installers needing Cat6a or shielded terminations must select different hardware.

Cat6 category rating

The decisive specification is the Cat6 rating, which defines the bandwidth and crosstalk performance these jacks guarantee. If the project demands Cat6a, Cat7 or shielded performance, these jacks will not meet the required standard. Buyers who need higher category certification should choose parts rated for that class.
