It uses 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors with an overall aluminum foil shield to reduce crosstalk and EMI. The CMR rating meets fire-safety requirements for non-plenum spaces. Installers needing PoE++ and 10 GbE headroom

The cable supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) 4PPoE up to 100 W, making it suitable for cameras, access points and other powered devices. Bandwidth is tested to 550 MHz. It is not for plenum air-handling spaces, so projects requiring CMP-rated cable should look elsewhere. Outdoor or direct-burial runs also need a different jacket type.
