The Liebert SN-Z03 is a surveillance accessory designed for environmental monitoring inside critical infrastructure enclosures. It provides discrete temperature and humidity readings for facilities teams who need real-time visibility of rack conditions. The unit connects via a single RJ-45 network port for integration with compatible monitoring platforms. Three temperature probes and one humidity probe are included for multi-point coverage.

Three temperature probes and one humidity probe

The sensor measures temperatures from 41°F (5°C) to 131°F (55°C) across its three included probes. A single humidity sensor covers the same environment for moisture tracking. The 5.18 m (17 ft) cable length gives flexibility for probe placement within a rack or cabinet. Network connectivity is limited to one RJ-45 port, so the device suits standalone monitoring nodes rather than daisy-chained deployments.

Replaces basic single-point sensors

This kit upgrades installations that rely on a single thermostat or lack humidity data entirely. The three-probe layout catches thermal gradients across a rack that a lone sensor would miss. The jump is worth it when uptime depends on detecting localised hot spots or condensation risk early. It is not suited for environments needing more than three temperature zones or multiple humidity points without adding further units.
