Weatherproof Duplex Cover

The Killark 2FA is a two-gang weatherproof cover made from copper-free aluminum in a gray finish. It mounts vertically on FS or FD weatherproof boxes and is designed for use with duplex receptacles. The cover carries a NEMA 3 rating and includes the mounting screws needed for installation. It is UL listed under file E 3397 and SAC certified under file LR 11852.

Outdoor and Damp-Location Installers

Electricians fitting duplex outlets in wet or damp environments will find this cover matches the required box type and gang count. The vertical orientation and aluminum construction suit standard FS and FD box mounting. Projects that need a horizontal layout, a different gang configuration, or a cover with an integrated lid should look at other models. Buyers needing a non-metallic or coloured finish will also need a different product.

Two-Gang Vertical Mounting

The decisive specification is the two-gang vertical mounting pattern for FS or FD weatherproof boxes. This defines whether the cover aligns with the existing box and receptacle arrangement on site. If the box is single-gang, horizontal, or a different series, this cover will not fit. The NEMA 3 rating confirms the cover meets the baseline protection level for outdoor use.
