The unit's maximum operating temperature is 80°C, beyond which the thermal protection will intervene. Wiring into 12V-24V systems

The adapter accepts a wide DC input span so it connects directly to vehicle batteries, railway signalling rails or industrial bus bars without an intermediate supply.
