Three-input Toslink switch for home theatre

The Jansicotek OZG2 routes three SPDIF sources such as consoles, Blu-ray players or streamers to a single optical input on a soundbar, AV receiver or amplifier. It handles uncompressed LPCM 2.0 and compressed DTS or Dolby Digital streams without adding latency. The switch is powered from a standard 5 V USB supply and includes a remote control plus an IR extension cable for hidden installations.

Black metal enclosure

The compact black chassis measures 5.91 by 2.36 by .79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces, fitting easily on a shelf or behind equipment. Three Toslink inputs and one Toslink output are clearly labelled on the rear. A front push-button cycles sources manually, while the built-in IR receiver works with the supplied remote; the extension cable lets the sensor peek out from inside a cabinet. Surge protection guards the circuitry against faulty power adapters.

Supports LPCM 2.0, DTS and Dolby Digital only

The switch passes stereo LPCM at 2.0, standard DTS and Dolby Digital bitstreams at sampling rates up to 96 kHz. It does not decode 7.1-channel Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD, so multichannel lossless formats from modern discs or streaming apps will not pass through. Fibre runs up to 40 m are supported with loss below .2 dB per metre, and the last selected input is remembered after power loss.
