Compact 3U rackmount chassis

The iStarUSA D-300SEA-RD-HDD2535 is a 3U server rackmount chassis with a red aluminium front bezel and black 1.2mm SECC steel body. It fits standard 19-inch racks and accepts ATX or microATX motherboards up to 12 by 9.6 inches. Seven full-length expansion slots are available for add-in cards. A single 60mm fan is included as standard cooling.

Suited for dense storage builds

This chassis targets builders who need multiple drive bays in a short rack depth. It provides two external 3.5-inch bays, one internal 3.5-inch bay and four 5.25-inch bays, plus a 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch converter. Buyers who require hot-swap backplanes or tool-less drive trays should look elsewhere, as those are optional extras not included. Systems needing more than seven expansion slots will not fit.

Straightforward rack installation

The unit mounts in a standard 19-inch rack using the front flanges and included handles. A front bezel key lock secures the door once closed. Optional 80mm fans require the DD-FANGUARD-8 bracket, which must be sourced separately. Temperature and fan indicators only function when the TC-ISF08 sensor board is installed. Power supplies must be 1U or 2U form factor.
