Industrial PCIe x8 Gen4 adapter

This PCIe x8 Gen 4 adapter with ReDriver converts signals to an SFF-TA-1020 EDSFF connector. It is built for server BMC management and industrial temperature ranges. The card complies with the PCIe 4.0 CEM specification and includes a latch connector for secure attachment. Designed and made in Taiwan.

Signal integrity over extended traces

The on-board ReDriver extends the PCIe Gen4 8-lane link across longer trace lengths and cables. A 100 MHz clock buffer at address 0x6C and an SMBus I/O expander at address 0x21 support remote management. Bidirectional voltage-level translators on WAKE# and CLKREQ# maintain open-drain signalling over distance. Latch-up performance exceeds 100 mA per JESD 78 Class II.

EDSFF 2C form factor constraint

This adapter only fits systems with an EDSFF 2C slot and matching latch mechanism. It cannot be used in standard PCIe CEM slots or M.2 keying. Buyers needing a direct PCIe-to-U.2 or PCIe-to-M.2 connection must choose a different changer type. The integrated 12 V hot-plug power with eFuse protection is specific to the EDSFF 2C power scheme.
