Enclosed 19-inch rack enclosure

The ICC ICFORE31RM is a 1U rack-mount fiber enclosure that occupies a single rack-mount space in a standard 19-inch cabinet. It houses up to three fiber adapter panels and accepts one small splice tray. The fully enclosed metal chassis protects terminated fibers from dust and accidental damage. Network technicians and data-centre installers use it to organise patching and splicing in dense environments.

Slide-out tray for moves adds changes

A forward and backward sliding tray lets installers pull the internal panel assembly out of the rack without removing the enclosure. Front and rear metal covers are removable, giving clear access to adapter panels and splice tray during moves, adds and changes. The tray locks in the closed position to keep cables secure during normal operation. This design reduces service time when reconfiguring live connections.

Passive thermal management

The enclosure has no fans or active cooling; it relies on the rack's ambient airflow to dissipate the minimal heat generated by passive fiber components. Metal covers and chassis add negligible power draw and produce no audible noise. The sealed construction keeps dust out while maintaining the thermal profile of the surrounding rack space. Installers should verify that the host cabinet provides adequate ventilation for the overall equipment load.
