ICC CAT6 EZ Connectors 25-Pack

This pack contains twenty-five Category 6 rated connectors designed for data networks that require maximum speed and bandwidth. PCB technology delivers superior signal quality while enhanced crosstalk cancellation reduces return loss. The components reject noise and unwanted signals and are backward compatible with all lower rated category components. They work with ICC Category 6 patch cords and all Work Area Outlets faceplates, inserts and surface mount boxes.

Upgrade from lower category components

These connectors exceed ANSI/TIA-568C requirements for permanent link performance and replace older category jacks that cannot support gigabit speeds. The jump is worth it when installing new structured cabling or upgrading existing runs to meet current bandwidth demands. UL 1863 compliance confirms the parts meet safety standards for communications circuits. Existing Category 5e infrastructure that limits throughput is the primary scenario where this upgrade applies.

Tool-free termination with 110 IDC

Each connector uses an inline 110 IDC with in-sequence termination that reduces installation time when used with a standard 110 punch down tool. A one-piece termination cap allows quick and easy wire seating without separate caps. An integrated TIA-568A/B color wiring diagram is printed on the jack to prevent mis-wiring. The most common error is skipping the punch down tool and pressing wires by hand, which leaves contacts unreliable.
