Emergency LED Battery Pack

The Hubbell UFO-LED25 is an emergency battery pack ballast designed to power an LED luminaire at full lumen output for a minimum of 90 minutes during a power interruption. It works in tandem with an existing AC ballast to eliminate the need for separate emergency lighting units. The unit supports normally-on, normally-off, or switched luminaires. It is constructed with a heavy 22 gauge steel enclosure and a white paint finish.

120/277 Vac Input and Remote Limits

The unit operates on a 120/277 Vac supply and contains a solid state charger with automatic transfer circuit, LED charge indicator light, and a high temperature Nickel-Cadmium battery. If used with a switched fixture, an unswitched AC power supply must also be connected to the UFO-LED from the same branch circuit as the fixture's AC ballast. For remote installation, the unit may be installed up to 250 feet from the fixture. It is UL 924 Damp Location Listed and meets NFPA 101 requirements.

Wiring and Circuit Requirements

Before ordering, verify that your fixture uses a compatible AC ballast and that the branch circuit can supply both the fixture and the emergency unit when a switched fixture is used. Confirm the installation location is within 250 feet of the fixture for remote mounting scenarios. Ensure the environment is suitable for a damp location listed device and that the steel enclosure dimensions fit the available mounting space.
