HPE DL380 Gen11 Tertiary Riser Kit

This upgrade riser kit is designed for the HPE DL380 Gen11 2U server. It adds a third riser slot to the chassis for additional expansion cards. System builders use it when the two standard risers are already populated. The part number is P48804-B21.

Two times sixteen lane expansion capacity

The kit provides two x16 slots for PCIe add-in cards such as GPUs, networking adapters or storage controllers. Bandwidth scales with the processor and motherboard topology installed in the server. Installations requiring more than two extra cards will exceed the capacity of this single kit.

Passive airflow cooling in 2U chassis

The riser board uses the server’s existing front-to-rear airflow for cooling installed cards. No additional fans or power connectors are included on the riser itself. Card power draw and thermal limits are governed by the server’s overall cooling configuration.
