The HopePow 15W Wireless Charger Pad is a new charging accessory designed for smartphones and earbuds that support the Qi wireless standard. It delivers up to 15W of power through a slim pad connected by a 3 ft USB cable. The unit includes a smart IC chip that automatically selects the appropriate output level among 15W, 10W, 7.5W and 5W modes. Safety circuits protect against over-charging, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit conditions.

Suits most flagship phones and foldables.

This charger works with a wide range of recent flagships including Samsung Galaxy S, Z Fold and Z Flip models, Google Pixel devices and iPhone models from the 8 series through the 17 series. It charges through rubber, plastic or TPU cases up to 5 mm thick but cannot transmit power through cases that contain magnetic or metal attachments. Buyers who own a Samsung Galaxy A series handset should look at a different charger because that line is explicitly excluded from compatibility.

15W maximum output with automatic mode selection

The single specification that determines whether this pad fits a user's needs is its peak output of 15W combined with automatic negotiation down to 10W, 7.5W or 5W depending on the connected device. If a phone or accessory only accepts 5W or 7.5W wireless input, the pad will still charge it safely at that lower rate. If a device requires a proprietary protocol above 15W, this unit will not provide the faster speed.
