This 8-way W5100 network relay module provides remote switching of up to eight independent circuits through a local network or the internet. It is intended for installers and system integrators who need centralised power management in environments such as offices, hotels, retail spaces or industrial equipment racks. The module operates on a 32-bit system and can be configured directly via a standard web browser. Each relay output supports resistive loads up to 250VAC 10A or 30VDC 10A.

Before ordering

Confirm that your installation can supply a stable 5.5V DC source capable of delivering at least 2A to the module. The board draws up to 5W when all relays are energised, so the power supply must maintain voltage under that load. Verify that the wiring for any high-voltage circuits follows the safety precautions to avoid short-circuits that could damage the module. Ensure the target network provides an Ethernet connection compatible with the on-board controller for browser-based access.

Sustained load behaviour

When all eight relays remain closed continuously the module dissipates its rated 5W, so adequate airflow around the board helps maintain stable operation. Each relay contact is rated for 2500W AC or 300W DC, but continuous operation at the maximum 10A per channel should be matched with appropriately sized conductors and over-current protection. The 32-bit controller handles persistent network sessions without requiring frequent reboots during long-term deployments.
