Quick Clean 2.5 mm Fiber Cleaner

The Fluke Networks Quick Clean tool cleans 2.5 mm fibre connectors including SC, ST, FC and E2000 types. It is built for technicians who maintain fibre networks in data centres, enterprise LANs or telecom environments. A simple push motion engages the cleaner and an audible click confirms full engagement. Each unit cleans over 525 end faces before replacement.

Replaces lint-free wipes and alcohol pens

Traditional cleaning methods leave residue and require multiple steps that slow down field work. This cleaner removes dust and oil in a single action without solvents, cutting the time spent on each connector. The jump is worth it when crews clean dozens of ports per shift and need consistent results without carrying wet chemicals. Crush resistance over 250N and drop survival from 1.5 m mean it survives tool bags and ladder work.

Push-to-clean with 208 mm tip extender

Installation is simply pressing the tool onto the connector until the click sounds. The tip extends to 208 mm to reach recessed bulkheads and dense patch panels without disassembly. What usually goes wrong is pressing off-centre or stopping before the click, which leaves the ferrule uncleaned. Training on the audible cue and straight alignment prevents repeat truck rolls.
