Indoor 1080p dome camera

The Eyemax XDM-202 is a 2MP analog dome camera built for indoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3 inch Sony CMOS sensor with a fixed 3.6mm megapixel lens to capture 1080p video at 30fps. The camera outputs an HD-SDI signal over a BNC connection and includes wide dynamic range for scenes with mixed lighting. It is suited for installers who need a compact ceiling-mount unit with on-screen display control.

BNC cabling and 12V DC power

Installation requires running RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable to a compatible HD-SDI recorder or monitor. A 12V DC power supply is not included and must be sourced separately. The three-axis bracket allows flexible angle adjustment after the dome is mounted. The camera provides a second analog video output for local testing, but it lacks audio and Power over Ethernet, so two separate cable runs are needed for power and video.

HD-SDI transmission limits

The HD-SDI interface restricts cable distance compared with IP or traditional analog systems; signal integrity depends on cable quality and length. Maximum resolution is 1944 × 1092, yet the recorder must support this format to benefit from the full pixel count. Night vision activates at 1 Lux minimum illumination, so extremely dark areas may need supplemental lighting. Buyers who want longer cable runs without repeaters or who need audio recording should consider alternative technologies.
