Check your ports and resolution needs

Verify that your host has a free USB Type-A port; the adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0 but resolution drops to 800x600 at 60 Hz on that interface. On USB 3.0 the maximum supported resolution is 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. Ensure the target display accepts a VGA input and that your operating system is Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, as listed by the supplier. No driver CD is required for these systems.
