The ESTONE OZJ1-1 is a 4x2 HDMI matrix switch that connects four 4K HDR sources to two displays or projectors simultaneously. It supports independent routing so each output can show a different source. Audio extraction is provided via optical SPDIF and 3.5mm stereo outputs alongside the HDMI signal. The aluminium alloy chassis aids heat dissipation for continuous operation in home theatres, offices or conference rooms.

Upgrading from basic splitters or manual switchers

A simple splitter duplicates one source to multiple screens, while a basic switcher only selects one source for a single display. This matrix replaces both by letting any of the four inputs route independently to either output with full 4K 60Hz 18.5Gbps bandwidth. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous different content on two screens, such as a presenter view and an audience view, or when you want extracted audio on both zones without extra converters.

Installation and common issues

Connect up to four HDMI sources and two displays using cables no longer than 10 metres at the rated bandwidth. Power the unit, then use the IR remote or front buttons to assign inputs to outputs. Set EDID correctly for each source to avoid resolution or handshake problems.
