Signal distribution and audio extraction

The ESTONE OZF6A splits a single HDMI source to two displays while simultaneously extracting audio through 3.5 mm, coaxial and SPDIF outputs. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDR10 and HDCP 2.2. Installers and home-theatre owners can send identical video to a projector and a TV while routing multichannel sound to an AV receiver. The unit requires the included DC 5 V USB power adapter.

Passive operation and signal reach

With no active cooling, the splitter runs silently and draws minimal power from the supplied adapter. At 1080p or lower the HDMI paths extend to 50 ft using AWG26 cable, while 4K signals remain stable to 26 ft. Deep-colour formats up to 36 bit and audio formats including DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and LPCM 7.1 pass through without degradation. Three audio-mode selectors (TV, 2.0 CH, 5.1 CH) let the installer match the downstream device.

Continuous load behaviour

During extended sessions the aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without throttling or added noise. Signal retiming maintains clock stability across both HDMI outputs so repeated handshake cycles do not introduce dropouts. The 18.5 Gbps internal headroom accommodates sustained 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 streams without bit errors. The fixed 1×2 topology means the device cannot switch between multiple sources, only replicate one source continuously.
