A built‑in microphone and 1 W speaker provide two‑way audio, while motion detection can trigger email or app push alerts. Recordings store locally on a microSD card up to 64 GB, and the device runs on an embedded Linux OS with account‑based access control.

Power and network prerequisites

The unit requires a DC 5 V supply with a tolerance of ±0.3 V and draws 3.5 W with IR on or up to 7 W when the pan‑tilt mechanism is active. Your router must support 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n; 5 GHz networks are not compatible. A microSD card is not included, so have one ready if you want local recording. The camera operates from −10 °C to 50 °C at 10 %–90 % humidity, making it unsuitable for outdoor or unheated spaces where temperatures fall below freezing.
