ESCAM QD420 4MP Dome Camera

The ESCAM QD420 is a 4 megapixel IP dome camera built for indoor or outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3 inch CMOS sensor with a fixed 3.6 mm lens giving a 75.7 degree field of view. ONVIF 2.0 compliance lets it integrate with many network video recorders and management platforms. The white housing carries an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.

Sustained-load streaming behaviour

The main stream delivers 4MP at 2592 by 1520 resolution running at 18 frames per second, while a 3MP option reaches 22 fps. H.265 and H.264 compression with CBR or VBR bit-rate control keeps bandwidth steady during continuous recording. A secondary stream at 704 by 576 and 25 fps supports remote preview without taxing the primary feed. The shutter ranges from 1/3 to 1/10000 second for consistent exposure.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Power consumption stays below 6 watts from a DC 12 volt supply, so heat output is minimal and no active cooling is required. The camera operates from minus 10 to plus 60 degrees Celsius at 10 to 90 percent humidity. Infrared LEDs provide up to 15 metres of night vision without audible noise. Wide dynamic range, 2D/3D noise reduction and auto white balance maintain image quality across changing light.
