A four-channel fan hub powers up to four 3-pin or 4-pin fans from a single Molex connector and adjusts all speeds together via a front-mounted knob from off to 100 percent.
The EN-Labs TX3CO4D connects to a Molex power lead and provides four 3-pin headers for case, CPU, GPU or server fans. A single rotary knob adjusts the voltage supplied to every connected fan at once, from fully off up to 100 % speed. It is designed for 12 V three- or four-pin fans that accept voltage control rather than PWM signalling.
Plug the Molex connector into a spare power-supply lead, attach up to four fans to the 3-pin ports, and turn the knob to set the desired speed. All channels change together, so individual fan curves are not possible. Four-pin fans will run in voltage mode only; the PWM wire is not driven. The extra 5.5×2.1 mm DC jack accepts a 12 V adapter such as a router supply, but the unit draws a maximum of 1.5 A at 2 V across all channels combined.
Verify that your fans are rated for 12 V operation and that voltage regulation is acceptable for your cooling needs. Ensure the power supply has a free Molex connector and that total fan current will not exceed the 1.5 A limit. If you require per-fan PWM control or independent speed profiles, this controller will not meet those requirements.
