Two-cable SATA kit

This pack contains two 50 cm SATA data cables with red sleeved jackets and gold-plated locking latches. One cable has straight connectors on both ends while the other adds a 90-degree angled plug for tight routing. Both support the 6 Gbps SATA revision III standard and remain backwards compatible with earlier 1.5 Gbps and 3 Gbps links. The 26 AWG tinned copper conductors are enclosed in a nylon fibre jacket for durability and flexibility.

Build integration

Each cable terminates in male-to-male SATA plugs that lock into drive and motherboard ports, preventing accidental disconnection during transport or vibration. The straight cable suits open layouts, while the right-angle version keeps the connector profile low against drive cages or motherboard edges. Together they cover the two most common routing scenarios without needing separate purchases. The half-metre length reaches typical drive bays in mid-tower chassis without excess slack.
