42U Steel Server Rack for Data Centres

This 42U steel server rack is built for data-centre and enterprise deployments that need high-density equipment mounting. It supports servers, storage arrays, PDUs, UPS units, consoles and KVM switches within a fully configurable frame. The cabinet delivers a 3,000-pound static load capacity and a 2,500-pound dynamic load capacity. The design provides 2.5 inches more usable depth than a standard 19-inch rack cabinet.

Installation Includes Tools and Baying Hardware

The package ships with 50 M6 cage nuts and screws, baying hardware, an edge grommet, a combination T30 Torx L-key with Phillips head, a cage nut insertion tool and a T30 extension driver. Casters allow the 365.30 lb unit to be rolled into position before final levelling. The 78.7-inch height and 47.8-inch depth require adequate aisle clearance and a floor rating that can handle the concentrated weight. Door and side panel alignment should be checked after the rack is seated.

Suits High-Density Enterprise Deployments

This rack suits organisations that need a deep, high-capacity enclosure with integrated mobility and a complete mounting kit. It is not intended for wall-mount scenarios despite the supplier classification, nor for spaces where a 31.5-inch width cannot be accommodated.
